John practiced as an Architect for 10 years before becoming a Lawyer in 1991. During his practice as an Architect, he designed and supervised various building types including Commercial, Industrial, Recreational and Residential Housing Developments. Presently, he specializes in numerous sectors of the Engineering and Construction industry; ranging from contract and related disputes in Building and Construction projects to multi-discipline advisory work relating to the Energy, Planning and Infrastructure markets at home and abroad. John also sits as an Arbitrator in numerous construction and engineering disputes and is on the Regional Panel of the Singapore International Arbitration Centre. He is an Adviser to the Singapore Institute of Architects (SIA) and is a member of its Alternative Dispute Resolution Committee and on the SIA Panel of Arbitrators. John is named as one of the Leading Individuals in Construction Law in the Asia Pacific Legal 500 Directory for 2003.
